"This work was quite cathartic for me; I painted it after finding out that
I would have to go into hospital for a (very minor) operation. This is
version 2. Version 1 included a short poem I wrote:
'We were o so positive
anyhow
I have decided to return you
That Blood.'
A print featuring this poem will be sent to the buyer with the painting. "
