"Louise grew up in the Brecon Beacons National Park and her passions lie in the mountains of Wales. Her original inspirational works display her versatility with the use of media producing echoes of the natural world. She transforms oils, acrylics and pastels into landscapes, sandscapes, floral pieces and birds. Some of her contemporary work hints at surrealism and Louise is attracted to sharp contrasts, rich colours and patterns in the natural and historical landscapes she encounters.
Her successful 2004 Solo Exhibition at Erwood Station Gallery near Builth Wells in Powys, resulted in media reports claiming she was destined to become an artist of the natural world. Sales of her work have reached the Netherlands, Spain and Canada.
Louise is a self taught artist qualified in Environmental Science. Her enquiring nature has taken her all over the globe including Alaska, Peru and New Zealand."
