"I am a full time professional artist and author, living with my dogs and miniature ponies in the picturesque nort-west of Southern Ireland beside the Iron Mountains. Having lived in Wales and Brittany, I now find the inspiration and subjects for my paintings are derived from Ireland's Celtic roots.Archaeology, Mythology and Landscape combine without divide.
I tend to work in eiither acrylics, textured with fine particles of stone to provide texture to a piece or intricate pen work over a wet on wet watercolour wash.
The other side of my work is writing and illustrating books on saddlery and horse driving harness, a craft I have worked at since leaving school.
I am a member of the Crafts council of Ireland, and Arthouse of Temple Bar, Dublin."
