"I liked the homeliness of this old-fashioned country greengrocer's shop in Suffolk, with its boxes of fresh vegetables and bedding plants and the welcoming shopkeeper standing in the doorway. It is the type of small, friendly, traditional shop which sadly seems to be disappearing. I have used a pointillist brush technique to reflect the simple and slightly naive feel of the scene. "
