"As a professional writer I have produced a good many novels, but painting gives me a special sort of pleasure. Last year (2004) 'The Door' was selected for inclusion in the Daily Mail's 'Not The Turner Prize' exhibition, which was staged at the Mall Galleries in London. I paint only in oils, which I find deeply satisfying, and my subjects are usually buildings or landscapes. |
