Title:Masque by artist Shane Murray

I wanted to work on something of my own choice for a change. It started to take shape after a few rough sketched. When I started to paint it, it just seemed right that she should be in some sort of period dress.
It was not intended to represent anyone in particular or any event, but as I worked, it began to remind me of a person and period of events in my own life.
