"I am a freelance painter. I have been painting for 12 years with my favourite medium - Acrylic.
I was born on the North coast of Brittany in France. Its extraodinary scenery has imprinted my memory. I have a predilection for painting rocky and sandy seascapes.
When I paint, I need to tune with the object of the scene. I transplant the emotions into forms and colour. It can take a week or months to achieve. I usually use photographs and sketches during my travel to help to memorize the scenes (and video now).
Recently, the birth of my son has dramatically changed my perceptions..as children are so powerful I have also developed a liking for painting and sketching young children and babies.
Finally, I believe that some of my paintings are kind of magical. They create charges around, harmonies which calm or strengthen you."
