"I am 24, from Fife in Scotland with a B.A. (honours) and a diploma in illustration from Edinburgh College of Art.
Having completed my courses in July 2005, I started my own business; "Paper Alligator Ltd.", selling my own work in various formats at art fairs and exhibitions around the UK.
I am primarily a children's book illustrator, working in mixed media - painted paper, collage, ink, acrylics, screenprinting and monoprint.
I always work boldly and loosely with a good helping of humour. I enjoy employing bright colours, patterns and textures and don't have much time for dark, miserable imagery!"
