Brought up in an artistic environment her mother, a sculptor, encouraged Coralie to experiment with different medium, techniques and styles.
However it was dry pastel crayons that finally lent expression to the language of her heart. Working in the medium for over eight years Coralie has held five exhibitions in India, which is Coralie's place of birth and were her Drawings are featured in many private collections.
For Coralie drawing in pastels is a meditative spiritual practise. Well defined symbols, forms and colours well up from the deep, subliminal levels of the consciousness. The imagery and the spirit of her work reflect her search for the artistic manifestation of the divine. The impact of her drawings in soft and subtle pastel hues blending with vivid bright colours goes beyond the intellect into the realms of higher consciousness.
