Title:James Dean by artist Charlie Parker

This painting combines a fascination for portraits and the challenge of capturing the likeness of the famous. Often, I feel that a painting is sometimes more effective without colour. This is perhaps a good example of this. I have therefore attempted to capture James Dean's unique personality by using black and white pastels.
