The Work
My work is dominated by social comment and the natural world. Much is underpinned by my interest in the supernatural and the influence of the work of Turner, Klee, Mondrian and Monet.
I currently work mainly in oils, acrylic, digital and watercolour using the highest quality materials to produce limited edition prints- as well as original works.
Each limited edition print is personally named, numbered and signed by me and I only use Hahnemuhle, Somerset and Saunders Waterford acid free watercolour papers. The ink quality exceeds British standard lightfast levels for archive quality reproduction.
My commissioned work ranges from corporate to individual clients and has been sent to many parts of the world particularly Europe.

The Artist
In the 1980s, I stayed in Paris on a number of occasions and became deeply involved in the Impressionists' vision, working mainly in acrylic and gouache. In the 1990s I spent time in New York where my work was strongly influenced by the city's culture and oils became the dominant medium I used.
I have an honours degree from Leicester University, UK and have always had an active involvement in education.
I spend part of my time writing on various aspects of art and have been published nationally.
