"I am a portrait painter using either traditional or impressionist
styles. I work mainly using oils and watercolours.I prefer
to paint from life but use photographs where necessary.
Mainly, I
paint people clothed, nude, formally or informally. I sometimes
accept commissions for animal portraits and interiors. I also paint
landscapes, still life painting etc."

1997-Co-founder of Pilgrims Way Art, participating in weekly life drawing workshops and

2000- Retired from teaching to devote more time to painting; mostly portrait commissions.
