"I was initially trained as an art teacher, and taught for a number of years. I have exhibited with local societies and galleries wherever I have lived and have had solo exhibitions in Hereford and Worcestershire. At the moment, I am working towards a portrayal of the spirit and atmosphere of landscape and the emotions the scenes create, rather than purely representing the view. I am influenced by David Prentice and David Tress at the moment. Most of my paintings are large watercolours but I also paint in oil or acrylic occasionally." |
