Artist's Statement

Born in 1942, painter and printmaker FLO BRADY
gained an arts degree from the University of Manchester before
becoming a lecturer at Manchester College of Arts and Technology. |
Her townscape paintings of Northern England, Wales and Ireland have earned her critical acclaim, and her etchings have been selected by both the Manchester Academy of Fine Arts and the Royal Cambrian Academy |
|
|
Flo Achieved the dream of a lifetime when she moved in 2002
from Bury in Lancashire to Llanfairfechan near Bangor on
the North Wales coast. As a direct consequence of the move, and the ber
light that North Wales enjoys, her palette has become much brighter and
her style more bold and free. |
