I don't know about you, but every time one looks at this painting, you are so caught up by the peace and tranquility that it exudes. One can just imagine spreading out a blanket with a picnic basket and simply losing yourself in the 'Reflections on the Pond'. For Malcolm, the challenge of being able to capture the stillness in the pond was the inspiration he sort for this painting.
