Peter B. Byatt
"I enjoy finding inspiration in subjects from Nature.
Since living in Italy the landscape of The Garfagnana and Barga with
its densely wooded hills, its rivers and streams has fueled my inspiration:
The dark blue-green shadows of the foliage contrasting with the stark
white of dry river beds, boulders, abstract forms in their own right,
refections in slow moving water: villages and towns perched high amongst
a sea of green and blue all test our ability to recognise the beauty
that surrounds us."
