" I was born in West Bengal, India. Since childhood I love art and adore painting. But I have little knowledge to write about creative work of painting.
I am always finding to create something from the nature, when I closed my eyes then I could create my intuition and express it through paints and brash on the canvas or paper I have special time in a day for meditation in the dark area then could find out my creation.
My first university degree was fine art including history of art then Post graduate in collections and museum management. I have also completed my Associateship (AMA) and Cultural Heritage National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) under mentor Alan Johnston, through Museums Associations, London and Besingstock College of Technology UK. It is a prestigious qualification in UK. The AMA demonstrates that the holder has a commitment to museums and an understanding of the purpose of museums, a willingness to take responsibility for their own professional development. Also NVQs recognize the practical skills and knowledge needed to do a job effectively and have been developed by people working in museums, galleries or other heritage sites throughout the world. I am the first AMA candidate to be accepted from outside the UK.
Since childhood, I am interested in visual arts and historical research, which develop through frequent visits to local museums. I am fascinated by display techniques of museum objects and it conservation also arts administration both inside and outside the museums & galleries. Personally, I feel that display technique plays a very important role in the museum educational system and creates a special relationship between the museum and its visitors. The visual arts can assist in filling the crevasses in museum's educational system. I have traveled to several countries including Russia, Jordan and UK. I have the privilege of working under several eminent artists, art conservators, art historians and educationalists that I have recognized as my Gurus.
While serving as a curator of Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Darjeeling, I transformed my dream into reality through my creative work of paintings, writings and artifact collections, which has related with the Himalayas. With my experience and deep love and attraction of art and culture, particularly mountains have influenced my work as an artist. As a result my works have given a lot of awards from various Government & Non Government organizations including India and abroad specially UK and also found their way into art collections."
