ARTIST STATEMENT

"My paintings are memories of Africa. I grew up in South Africa and worked in the field of Wildlife Conservation, both in the Kruger National Park and for what was the Natal Parks Board.
The creative process in my painting is bly driven by nostalgia and the desire to reaffirm emotional attachments to Africa.
I enjoy exploring the possibilities of composition, colour and texture."
