Val Gleave is a versatile artist who paints mainly in oils or acrylics.
Driven by the need to create, she has produced some lively
cityscapes and tranquil landscapes including some with figures.
She likes most of all to paint animals and accepts commissioned works
for pets, taken from photographs.

If you have ever been lucky enough to escape to the wild, lonely
Shetland Islands, you will definately recognise many of these
locations and perhaps be transported momentarily to the
land where the air is cool and fresh, the sea is clear and there
is a peacefulness which tranquilises the soul. David Nisbet has
lived there most of his working life and, like a good local
guide, shares some of his favourite scenes with us in acrylic.

Tara Roskell's painterly acrylics are bright and clean. Her
subjects are familiar but, using her perceptive
eye for colour and her exeptional painting ability,
the end results display eye catching beauty.

Jessical Stride's large abstracts are rounded, feminine and soft. The colours
she uses work on our subconcious leading our eye around and into the images
in an almost hypnotising fashion. She has four for sale here, each one
strikingly different, yet each has the same peacefulness which seems to be
a characteristic of her style.
