Serene, slow flowing water. Turquoises and blues. Soft Clouds floating
in a summer sky reflected on the waveless surface of the
River at Mortlake - the title of this wonderful riverscape
painted in oils by artist Joy Forbes Cole. A sufferer of Lupus herself,
Joy sells her fine art in aid of the charity Lupus UK.

John Mulberry has celebrated the British summer by capturing
on his oil on canvas paintings new dramatic views of tall
flowers offset against clear blue skies, Cistus, Foxgloves and
Red hot pokers are here as well as one of his specialities - Lilies.
Another two in John's own unique style are two paintings of the sky
and one of the skyline, broken by chimney pots. John's paintings
are very big and bold - beautiful wallhangings as centrepieces
to fill a large space in your home.

Somerset artist John Routledge's classic
nude drawings and paintings show a skilled portraitist.
With small details, for example the positioning of the hands,
he hints at part of the character of the sitter.
His peaceful traditional landscapes sit bathed in sunlight in shadows,
and these, and his nudes have a delicious "velvet" richness of colour.

Many of us play with our digital cameras, but a professional photographer
such as J.P. Sharp has an eye for just what makes a good picture.
He is willing to get up at dawn or work well into the
night - and works to find those remote
locations to capture exactly the image he is looking for.
Although J.P. Sharp's
choice of subjects are in essence traditional, his clever use of modern
digital technology breathes into these images a vivacious angle and depth.

Most educated individuals struggle to understand the meaning of life
and their place in the universe or their perceived physical world. If one
lived in a country which has been torn apart by war, that introspective
search must be even deeper and more painful. Pero Jotanvic lives
in Bosnia Hertzegovenia and like all the great artists, has not flinched
from baring his soul in artistic depictions of his torment. These
paintings are raw, unique and though universally recognisable
are also specifically personal to Pero Jotanovic who we see as
an exceptional artist.

Scott Spencer is a prolific artist from Pasadena, USA. His
oil paintings on canvas are painted in lovely pastel hues which give
them an other wordly quality. He paints in many styles. Most
of the paintings added here for sale are lively modern abstracts,
which are great fun and highly unsusual.
