South Sheilds artist Jenn Shone paints dark paintings. This new
addition is an oil painting on board of grasses blowing silently
in the night. It is simple, peaceful and very restful. One can almost imagine the
sound of the wind blowing through the grasses.
Artist Luke Turton understands the art world and as well as using
AARTI to promote his art, he works very hard visiting galleries. He has also
gained acclaim by having articles printed in the press about his drawings
and paintings. Luke is in tune with the innocent, colurful world of childhood and
has not forgotten the magical feelings of which toys bring joy to the
hearts of little people but Luke also produces works for the more mature art buyer. His
experience is developing and it will be interesting to see what shape
his talents will take in the next few years.
Artist R.G.Bundell has been drawing and painting for over 15 years.
Ray really captures the atmosphere and feeling from his subjects. The
wherry here sailing peacefully on the Norfolk Broads exhudes the calm
slow motion of the wherry as it glides through the peaceful landscape.
Another drawing included in his new additions is a horserace and in this
drawing, there is a real "rush" of motion, the blur of speed and the
excitement which comes from this sport of kings. These drawings are
very cleverly executed and their apparent simplicity is quite deceiving.
There is more to the nudes of Somerset artist John Routledge than just
pictures of beautiful women. These nude ladies are obviously painted
from real models, imperfections included. The skin on each painting
is painted with the hues of real skin. The light falls on each
painted figure giving each an irredescence. They pose naturally, the
roundness of their bodies in relaxed positions and their faces - where shown
are lost in enigmatic thoughts. These acrylic and pastel paintings and
drawings are for connaiseurs of traditional paintings, painted by
a popular artist already with quite a following in the West Country and Americal.
Psycholgists say that the colours we choose can be informative about
who we are. Abstracts are appealing despite often having no obvious
focal subject matter - the colours themselves form some kind of
trigger to our deepest memories or emotions. You may look
at these abstract oil paintings for sale by artist
Nicholas Mosienkoand try to decide why any of his
paintings seems to be more attractive to you than another. Of
course, you may simply be looking for an original modern abstract
oil painting
for your home or office which matches the other interior design. Either way - take a look - you could just spot something you
want to own.
This new expressionist acrylic painting for sale by Cornish artist
John A.J. Harris is entitled "Blue Dancer". In this
painting, John is expressing how pain can twist the body and how one can
the mind can transcent this feeling. This painting nicely conterbalances
another of his expressionist paintings called "Red Dancer" which depicts a flowing
figure, uninhibited and freely moving.
Manchester artist Robert James Burden has used a most unusual
perspective in his latest original oil painting for sale here. Entitled
"Time For Dance" we see dancers in the distance behind the ballet shoes
of a leading ballerina. The dancers leap out from the black theatre curtain
and the dark grey of the shining stage using reflection and chiaroscuro for
maximum impact. Robert has a B.A. Hons in art. Between paintings
he give his time to aid adults with learning difficulties. Not
surprisingly, Robert is a popular artist. You can access his own website from
the bottom of his summary page. Robert accepts commissioned work
Entrepreneur and artist Louise Cunningham set up her own limited
company (Paper Alligator Limited) at a very young age after attaining an honours degree and a
diploma in illustration from Edinburgh College of Art, Scotland. We
are delighted to show here on AARTI a vibrant selection of Louise's prints
for sale. These are bright and cheerful. Louise says herself that she
enjoys using her sense of humour when creating her designs and her
happy young personality bubbles onto her fun filled modern canvas prints.
The prints are mostly square and can form "sets" but may hang perfectly
well as individual prints.
Artist David Whitfield is a master painter of portraits. Queen
Elizabeth I would have had him beheaded had she been painted with
the character lines that are on the handsome face of Giovanni - the
subject of David Whitfield's latest submission to our art gallery.
David will give provenance to this work of art by telling any
buyer exactly who this, sun-kissed gentleman with kind eyes, actually
is. How lovely to have a portrait such as this hanging in any home.
Artist Martin Kenny's figurative world is crowded. The people are
concocted from his own imagination. These two new additions to his
works for sale show crowds of figures reminiscent of El Greco's
faithful in his painting "The Adoration Of The Name Of Jesus". The
differences are many - El Greco's work is saturated with intense
spiritual inference. The souls in Martin Kenny's two new paintings
are of our time and are not basking in the glow of heavenly light. They
may be at a party, feasting and revelling - or are they? Only Martin
knows his thoughts as he painted and he is not saying. These paintings
have no titles. Interpret them as you will.
Artist Neill Murphy, has been reading Gauguin's "Letters from
the South Seas" and has found that it is believed that Gauguin had
many children there. This has inspired Neill to paint a descendant of
Gauguin's ghost. "A Lost Man" in Neill's own words.
The bold colours in Neill's art are ever brighter. Added here is
another great portrait painted in Neill's own style,
influenced by Gauguin of a clown.
Artist Carmen Tyrrell specialises in figurative works from life -
drawings and paintings. Her figures seem to be three dimensional on the
flat paper she draws. Carmen has had several solo exhibitions of her
own and has built up a following for art buyers who enjoy collecting
nude drawings and paintings. Carmen was classically trained in Art in
Romania and can produce works in almost any medium. She has a real
talent for looking and captures small movements of the human body
to produce figures are not stiff, but which twist and move in natural ways.
Artist Anny Spilberg, having been approached by
different commercial galleries is now enjoying a period of great success
selling her art in the UK. She has kindly added ten new artworks to
sell exclusively on the AARTI internet art gallery website. These
are as ever in Anny's lovely style of painting. Anny seems to produce
a shimmering translucent effect my combining different colours in
an impressionistic way. Anny loves painting in oils and her
passion for both this medium and for her subject matter shows in
her lovely modern paintings.
Artist Ms Bhawana Choudhary Chandra is one of India's finest. Here
are six feminine, romantic original oils on canvas for sale painted by her.
Three are modern cubist urban landscapes and three are figurative
paintings all painted in the distinctive
style which makes Ms. Bhawana's art so special. Her paintings seem to swirl in
a sort of breathtaking shaded luminescence which softens features. Her
figures seem other worldly; her cities bathed in magic. Amongst her
prestigious list of clients is included the Counsul General of Switzerland
and Germany.
Languedoc artist Nicholas Mosienko is a prolific painter of
original abstract oil on canvas paintings. Nick often uses the square and
the rectangle as focal features. These are used
as metaphorical representations of either confined spaces, with a
sense of being trapped or as openings - routes for escape. These shapes are
presented in differing colours giving different moods to the works themselves
which Nick says is influenced by his own environment or emotional balance
at the time of cration. These would look fabulous in any designer home or
modern office environment. Nick prefers to leave his works untitled to allow
free interpretation from his viewers.
