Artist Li Zhuangzhi enjoys painting in the Chinese style.
His paintings are of the highest quality as befits any artist who has trained
at the St. Petersburg Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture.
Li particularly enjoys painting urban landscapes because he enjoys being
outside in the fresh air, but also the challenge of detailed work
in still life work.
We have said that starting your art collection need not mean that
you have to go bankrupt. Leeds artist Helen Earnshaw is offering you
the opportunity to purchase an original acrylic painting on box canvas at a real
bargain price. Seascapes are a timeless subject. Most of us have
at some point in our lives sat by the seashore with
sea spray on our faces and salt on our lips listening to
waves crashing, seemingly endlessly on rocks. Helen Earnshaw has captured
that exhilirating scene beautifully using acrylics on box canvas. This
painting is a one off. There is only one lof these in the whole world!
The Dutch, like the British have always been travellers and Dutch artist
Jessy Willemse is definately one. Working hard as an extermely original
and gifted artist, Jessy now resides in Adelaide, Australia,
but the Dutch roots are definately there - a Van Gogh influence
is apparent in the emotional swirling textures of her paintings.
Jessy's artwork is an exciting collection of modern original
mixed media paintings - which are exhibited here in three separate galleries.
Each gallery contains paintings rich in glorious contrasting colours, yet
the galleries are all quite different. Definately worth spending
some time just taking these in!
When artist Naveen Ravi first submitted his artworks for
sale, he was a student paying his way through university. He now
boasts the proud title of Dr. and with his confidence appears to
have come a new found abandonment in his inhibitions. These two
female nudes are lovely modern Indian nudes. One is censored by AARTI.
Well done Dr. Naveen Ravi in achieveing your qualifications and for
these superb graphite drawings.
Artist Susan Upton paints figurative oil paintings filled with
special moments from childrens' lives. They chat merrily together,
walk hand in hand or play innocently and happily on beaches. These are
moments which are wonderfully simple, unrepeatable childhood events. As
adults we can be envious of their lack of worries but their activities
bring back
snatched memories from our past when life was just one big adventure.
