Some artists paint many subjects before finding their strengths or forte.
Artist Tracy Marshall from London has found her comfort zone and
produces dramatic floral paintings with petals always more
delicate, complex and pretty. Chocolate lovers will also like her modern
oil paintings - canvases brimming to the edge with recognisable sweet
wrappers apparently bulging with sweet delicious coated toffees.
Tracy's paintings have recently been on television - see the

Ron Atkin An artist who writes a trilogy with his brush and paints with his pen.
Not the usual way to express in the forge of life, on the anvil of birth, the purpose of death!
As a word smith Ron introduces us to not 7 dwarfs and Snow White, but 12 of these creators. They are he says a surrogate for God. He says it makes common sense of an uncommon idea, if you put your thinking cap on, or better still a gnome/dwarfs hat. Which like the Wizard Merlin’s is pointed the cosmic cone. A 100% wisdom piece of haute couture is the result.
This alchemic magic, transforms us Ron says, into ‘knowing’ who we are and why we are here. Plus if we have any tendency to want to create, into being able to produce works of wisdom and magic.
The canvas he says is hidden in Wordsworth’s ‘Daffodils’. The medium and brushes to create our masterpieces is in visual meditation, which he teaches in his trilogy.
Ron is a strong opponent of any meditation that empties the mind of everything. Find stillness yes, but NOT an empty space. “You can never tell what mischievousness might hop in there!” He calls his meditation ‘The Song of The Sea.’
I personally think his song has given him 60 years of diverse masterpieces like his portrait of Sir John Gielgud and his 5' x 4' Watercolour in the R.A. Summer Exhibition, reproduced by the Apollo Magazine. Critics comment being that it was one of the best of three out of 1,300 in the Summer Exhibition. Sold to private collector at the PV. Then sold again at Bonhams Chelsea: Thursday, March 31st, 1994 (Lot 62) MODERN &CONTEMPORARY BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES.

Artist Lars Schotzau is in touch with the darker side of his imagination. His
surreal images are striking, expertly painted and strangely beautiful.
His art seems to come from another dimension. Lars is unafraid of
confronting us with some shocking realities about our modern
existance and often links this to the afterlife.

Ballet and the art of dance makes a beautiful spectacle for visitors
to the theatre. Sadly, this is an expensive treat if the performace
is professinally organised.. Artist Tim Wheeler brings
into your home some of that beauty - and also many of the 'behind the scenes'
moments where the effort and pain that goes into making a show perfect
are captured in his wondrfully detailed drawings and paintings of
dancers going through their relentless routines for their audience. Even
in this hard work can be found poignant beauty - as painful as some
of the stories told through dance. Tim draws and paints tastefully, the perfectly toned
figures of the dancers in imaginary poses such as this nude, seated on
what appears to be the net of a ballet dress.

Artist Eleanor Suckerman is based in London, where nothing could
be as special as a little garden space with a pond. Eleanor has painted a pond
with a spectacular white Lily stetching it's petals, and two
tiny butterflies stretching their wings, to the sun. This
original acrylic painting is both peaceful yet dramatic, with the lily
contrasted against the dark water. Eleanor's painting is very detailed
and anybody who appreciates floral painting will enjoy this fine example.

Scientists in Universities the world over are currently working on automated
facial recognition systems. Each human being alive changes their expression
by the second. Throughout life, our skin ages, yet, we can still recognise a face -
and glean information from it. Apparently different cultures look first
at different parts of the face to pick up information. Here are
a selection of photographic portraits for sale by professional London aristic
photographer Gautam Narang. These are grouped into a little
exhibition entitled 'Faces'. What information can you glean from these faces.

Some of the very earliest Indian artifacts have their source in the Santal region and it is good that their love of beautiful artistic works, music and dance still exist today. Contemporary Indian artist Dilip Bhattacharyya from Calcutta has painted wonderful oil paintings for sale showing people and
beautiful landscapes from this region of India, as well as bright local birds with feathers in
primary colours. These rich hues are reflected majestically in the intricate costumes of fine
materials worn by celebrating Indian families he has painted. Dilip's original oil paintings are all oil
on canvas.

These examples of original oil paintings and oil drawings for sale
by South African artist Derek Bernstein (Derrikco)'s express the confusion,
and despair that destructive relationships can cause; shown
in his tiles, cold, dark and empty colours and swirling confused lines
inside the figures on his works. Conversly hope and strength appears
to emerge through a connection with collective conciousness as
his figures, begin to clear - and in his collective journey - we
can see that we are never alone.

Eddie O'Keefe is a professional painter who encapsulates in his
landscapes, the jaw dropping atmospheric aura and beauty of nature.
A Yorkshireman, brought up surrounded by the Cleveland hills and on the Yorkshire
moors, he has first hand experience of the mysterious forces and 'auras'
that are reflected so briefly yet unforgettably to those who
are open to experiencing them. These painterly abstracts reflect,
with their colours and textures, seconds of extreme emotion in an
artists life, captured for posterity on canvas by a trained and experienced
mind and hand.

Summarising Dutch artist Zlata Privedentseva's original oil paintings
the phrase "Girls just want to have fun" comes to mind. Zlata's figurative
paintings evoke the emotions of love, religious and sexual. The
girls she paints swing between saint and sinner - innocent and conspiratorial.
Most of all, her painted figures are bursting with the wonder and beauty
of life.
