by the vast Devonshire moors. A trained horticulturalist, John
knows just about all there is to know about plants and paints exceptional
modern floral paintings as well
as vast enveloping skyscapes. Johns favourite medium is oils on canvas.John's art sells well so - if you
really want a particular painting, do not hesitate too long - somebody else
probably has their eye on it too!

Kentish artist Julian Smith has painted two incredibly expertly detailed
original wildlife oil paintings. This
African elephant in natural habitat (Kilimanjaro in the background) has old tusks and thick
strong legs and skin, with ears like soft chamois sails. The other new
addition is another original oil painting - a"Best Beloved" -
leopard with eyes that shine bright and yellow as he basks,
totally relaxed, in the hot afternoon shade, rather like your cat on the
back of the sofa.

alive by incorporating snippets of their fantastic imaginative worlds
into lively, modern original, surreal abstract oil paintings. Gerrard has exhibited widely
in the UK and has been artist in residence for different operatic
societies such as the Birmingham Royal Ballet.

If you ever thought there was no unspoilt beauty left in this
world then drink in artist Derek Urban's seascapes and landscapes. Only a
skilled art professional can combine the perfect beauty of these scenes
with that extra something magical - something that makes you catch your
breath in the majesty and wonder of it all. This original oil painting
by Derek - is called "Daybreak". The flat calm, smooth wet sand mirrors
heavy dancing storm clouds - and through this darkness - the sun bursts
through as if we were there to witness it. Shore birds bask
in the new light looking at us and at the sun, celebrating the new day.
Derek lives and works in Devon. His deep love of its lonely wide open
spaces oozes from his compostions in oils, acrylics and watercolours.

Orna Adoram is the first Israeli artist we have represented on
aarti. Orna has three huge original abstract paintings to buy, painted
in acrylics and mixed media. On her canvases, Orna integrates the material world with
spiritual concepts. Orna is an experienced artist and exhibits widely
in Israel. On this canvas entitled "Love", coloured with rich, muted oranges and
pink tones, one may experience two abstracted forms, floating in separate
but attached warm space - symbolic of the emotion of Love.

Just look at these delightful little fishes swimming in their
shoal in the warm luminous sunlit sea. How happy they are - and
how happy they make one feel to see them. Artist Samm Mackinnon
was brought up near the sea and has travelled the world. She paints
using her huge stock of photographs from her journeys, and incorporates
her emotions and memories to come up with happy compositions such as
this example. Samm accepts commissions - but, not surprisingly,
there is normally a waiting time because Samm's works are in great demand.

It is always great when an artist we have had on this website for some time
sends in new art. This new painting by Chichester artist Laura Marrinan
is an original oil painting showing the ancient and beautifully
curious Longhorn Cattle in the New Forest. Longhorn
Cattle are a very ancient breed of cattle which were re-introduced to the wild
in the New Forest. This painting evokes a mysterious ancient quality.

Artist Alison Precious, from London gives us three little original
abstract paintings in watercolour. Each with the same dimensions, these
would look lovely framed as a set on the wall of any home where young people live.
These are addictive to look at. Your eye follows the swirling lines back and forward,
up and down, then, jumping from one line to another, and one colour to the next.
These watercolours are busy, colourful and a lot of fun.

This is what a customer said about the painting
she purchased from us by South African artist Derek Bernsrein.
"Contemplation" by Derek Bernstein just arrived today and it is
extraordinary. I couldn't be more pleased with it, even more nuance and
texture that i thought would be there...". Derek says that these two new paintings are "stronger" than some of his previous works. Let these
two new complex original oil abstracts speak to you.

Incredibly, London artist Mala Shah is self taught. This
amazingly detailed picture of an elephant depicts the elephant's
wonderfully baked craggy skin and sets the elephant in a stunning
sunset in the Savannah. Mala takes months to complete each fine artwork
and her willingness to work patiently towards an end that is as
perfect as this wildlife painting gives us the pleasure to enjoy
her art. Mala loves elephants and is deeply saddened that their numbers in the
wild continue to dwindle. Her sadness and love of these great creatures
shows in each of her loving brushstrokes.
